Brusje
Brusje is located 6 km east of Hvar town. It was created at the beginning of XVI century as a pastoral wine producers village. Today is Brusje suburb of Hvar and a favorite destination for those who want to experience a traditional village atmosphere of the island Hvar. A wonderful old-fashioned scenery, a blend of stone, Mediterranean vegetation, and sea give Brusje special charm. Brusje is proud of its church of St. George built between 1676-1708 year which altar has a picture of Brusje's painter Iva Dulcic, one of the most modern Croatian artists. On the way to the Stari Grad Mocirovo is located, rustic ruin circuit with a nice vantage point.
